• A slim tubing hooks into a custom mold that fits in your ear
• Least feedback issues
• Minimal wind noise
• Easy to insert and remove
• Easy battery insertion with a 14+ day battery life
• Can be worn in most ears
• Less expensive
  

In-The-Canal

• Mild hearing loss only
• Small and cosmetically appealing
• Possible telephone feedback
• Wind noise minimized
• More awkward to remove
• Battery life of 9 to 10 days
• Batteries fairly easy to insert
• Can be worn in most ears
• Moderate cost
  

Completely-In-The-Canal

• Virtually undetectable
• Little or no telephone feedback
• Wind noise eliminated
• Fairly easy to insert and remove
• Battery Life of 6-7 days
• Batteries can be awkward to insert
• Small ear canals may restrict options
• Higher cost
  

Open Fit BTE

• Mild to moderate hearing loss
• Cosmetically appealing
• No feedback
• No voice feedback or “barrel” effect
• Most comfortable of all aids
